Families across South Davis County can pick up free clothing in all sizes at Bountiful High School on Saturday, August 1, from 9 a.m. to noon. No income verification, no enrollment requirement, no catch.
The event, called the Community Closet, takes place at 695 S. Orchard Dr. in Bountiful. Clothing ranges from children's sizes through plus sizes, according to the school's announcement posted Wednesday, July 23.
Bountiful High School said the closet is open to any individual or family in the community. The school is also seeking clothing donations through an Amazon Wishlist and recruiting volunteers through online sign-ups to staff the three-hour event.

Residents who want to donate clothing or volunteer their time can find links on the Bountiful High School website at bhs.davis.k12.ut.us. The school's announcement noted that donated items and volunteer hours are what make the event possible for local families.
The Community Closet does not require advance registration to attend. Doors open at 9 a.m. and close at noon.
