Residents can drop off frozen turkey breasts and Thanksgiving sides at three Davis County locations on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Bountiful Food Pantry and Open Doors are coordinating the 2026 Davis County Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, according to the Davis Journal. Donations go to families in need through food pantries, schools and churches across the county.
Bring items to any of these sites:
- Bountiful Food Pantry, 480 E. 150 North, Bountiful
- Open Doors Food Pantry, 875 E. UT 193, Layton
- Kaysville LDS Church, 900 S. Main, Kaysville
Organizers are asking for frozen turkey breasts, either boneless or bone-in. They also need boxed stuffing, boxed mashed potatoes, canned yams, canned vegetables, gravy packets and canned cranberries, according to the Bountiful Food Pantry's event page.
One scheduling note: the Bountiful Food Pantry will be closed for regular hours on Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day, according to the pantry's website. The Turkey Drive collection that evening is a separate event. The pantry reopens on its regular schedule Thursday, Nov. 12.
The Bountiful city website described the effort as "happening all month long this November," though the pantry's event page lists only the single Nov. 11 evening drop-off. Online donations are also accepted at the Bountiful Food Pantry website.
