Six holiday markets, festivals and races hit Bountiful and Farmington in November, starting with the First Friday Stroll on Nov. 6 and running through the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot on Nov. 26.

First Friday Stroll — Nov. 6

Bountiful Main Street hosts its First Friday Stroll on Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. Businesses along Main Street stay open late the first Friday of every month, with food trucks and art shows, according to Bountiful Main Street.

Simple Treasures Holiday Kick Off — Nov. 10–14

The Simple Treasures Holiday Kick Off runs Nov. 10 through Nov. 14 at Western Sports Park in Farmington, according to the boutique's event page.

Regency Christmas Festival — Nov. 19–21

The Regency Christmas Festival takes over Western Sports Park in Farmington from Nov. 19 through Nov. 21. Admission is free. The event, formerly known as the Magic of Christmas Festival, is hosted by Dream Events, according to a Dream Events Facebook post. Attendees can browse local handmade vendors, watch live performers, grab seasonal treats and visit Santa Claus across the three-day run.

Winter Art Market — Nov. 23 through Dec. 18

The Bountiful Davis Art Center, led by Executive Director Sarina Ehrgott, opens its annual Winter Art Market on Nov. 23 at 90 N. Main St. in Bountiful. The market runs through Dec. 18 and features more than 50 booths of handcrafted goods, according to the center's website. Shoppers can find stained glass ornaments, painted silk scarves, clay jewelry and mini oil paintings. The market will also hold special Black Friday hours from noon to 6 p.m.

Turkey Trot — Nov. 26

The South Davis Race Series Turkey Trot returns to Bountiful on Thursday, Nov. 26. The Turkey 10K and Family 5K start at 8 a.m., and the Gobbler 1K follows at 9 a.m., according to the South Davis Race Series. The race series FAQ notes upwards of 1,200 registered participants.

Packet pickup runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the South Davis Recreation Center, and from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 26 in the Bountiful Junior High gym at 550 N. 200 West.

Still to come

Two more events are in the works but do not yet have confirmed dates. Bountiful Main Street's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 75 E. 200 South in Bountiful, with a date to be announced. Santa's Arrival at Station Park in Farmington, at 140 N. Union Ave., is also pending a date, according to Station Park's events page.
